Tim Cox's birthday wish !

On the 6th March at Tyseley the support group had the pleasure of hosting a visit from the Cox family. The visit was for Tim Cox as a 65th birthday treat, and was arranged by his son James. Although Tim and his wife now live in Yorkshire Tim was born in the village of Nunney (near Frome in Somerset) and consequently has a very "soft spot" for the GWR Castles especially 5029. Following discussions with Ian of the support group, the family arrived to spend a few very enjoyable hours talking about every aspect of the locomotives care and maintenance.
It was good to talk to enthusiasts who appreciate the hard work that goes into such a hobby as ours and the support group would like to place on record their thanks for the interest shown by the Cox family and hope we will see them again in the future .
